Here's something wrong with the news we absorbed everyday in Taiwan!

Here's something wrong with the news we absorbed everyday in Taiwan!

Do you konw every daily newspaper you bought are the advertisements of our government? Do you konw every daily news you read are the guidances of policies? Can you accept the alarming fact that your
mind was guided to a certain direction by our government?

That is the reality you should know!!

We mush reject this bad climate of our socielty! The mass media and the public opinion should be the most righteous and strict supervisors to all of the policies. Unfortunately, this democracy privilege of public is taken away by our administration. Our government uses it as a private tool for dressing up, even blanking out it's inept administer, wrong excusive policies, and terrible influence coming soon. The overwhelming majority of newspaper offices and TV stations mainly depends on government by being fed standly with the enomeous commercial benefit of buying "news".

If the Taiwanese are not alert to this severe condition in time, then the future of Taiwan will be as unconsciousness as the veggie patient chained on the dark side of intensive care unit which is immersed in a false peaceful mood tiled by artificial advertisements and guidances of our government, and waiting for death alone.

The above mentioned is my personal opinion.

This X'mas of 2010 is my first big festival in America, it certainly means a lot to me. Someone said X'mas is prior to the storm for the moment of recollection, which collected everything done, friends passed, persons had loved, within this year. I agree this point!

Isolation was the only word to discribe how I felt in few days ago, I couldn't image how many times can a man be hitten by enormous emptiness and pressure,  did it have limit temporarily, or I just crossed the boundry for good.......

Fortunately, everything always has cons and pros, and so do I.
Although I feel falling into a vacant space like a washing machine, but I still grab love after all.
So, let's see the happy time of my X'mas of 2010 in Savannah~~

In America, X'mas house decorating is very common.
the X'mas tree, candy, a dear made by little light bulbs, there are so many choices upon to you.
Check this house, I believe the occupant of the house should be the most severe fanatic individual of X'mas decorating!!
Believe in your eyes! That's a 2M-height Snoopy in the front door~~~

Be honest to say, the red mailbox was looked strongly ike Elmo......
After the tourism of theX'mas house decorating, I went to ice skidding (skating).
It's not my first time of ice skididng, but I still need more parctice.

Next coming is the biggest part of X'mas Eve, yes~~~, the X'mas meal!!
Actually I was attending to a X'mas party of my neighbors downstairs, and offering only two dishes: my special flavoring fried rice and  chicken stewed in rice wine (燒酒雞).
See?! The really luxuriant X'mas dinner!!

It's hard to explain details of each dish on the table, because everyone has the private recipe; but there are two things for sure. Every dish was very delicious, and I had a real wonderful night at X'mas Eve.
Thank for my neighbors, I was treated so friendly by all of you.

What the fucking efficiency of school administration!

I know I am a new student here, and that is also why I need a car so urgently, cause I need to survive here through this cold winter!!

Acutally I prepared to have a driving license test in DDS today, but the officer didn't find my student record in the system, so I went ahead to school administration to check out what happened there, then guest what?

They said because of my registration of school administion is a new adding record, I have to wait almost thirty work days until January 10 so that my registration record is going to be shown successfully on the DDS computer system, then I will be allow to apply the driving license exam, and it also means that I have to take miles of biking every bloody cold morning to attend to my classes within these thirty days...

I can't help saying You guys really use computers and internet to build the connection from every institutions and goverment organizations, don't you? Why dose it need to take 30 work days just because of adding a new registration record?! what's worng with the connection?!

I spent my whole daytime waiting in DDS and school administration, and I just want to say what the fucking efficiency of school administration!

Today I recieved two small packages from Taiwan.
My younger cousin sent me three bottles of peanut butter, a fast-cooked souppack, and several packs of fast noodle.
I have to say the peanut butter from Taiwan is quite different from the one here, it's remarkable!!
Really thank you!! My younger cousin!  you have to know it's so touching to me!!!  you good!!

Conventionally, I gonna introduce some new meal I made~~~
Here're today's meal:

Chicken with Ginger and Wine in Casserole  (三杯雞)
Stirs fry the green vegetables  (actually I really don't know what exact kind the vegetables are..........)

It' s a complicated process to make a chicken with ginger and wine in casserole, so let me show you a short brief:
1. Prepare the sliced ginger, chive pieces, some chili, and of course the chicken.
2. Put some vegetable oil and sesame oil into the hot pot, and fry with ginger and chicken.
3. Cover the chicken with some soya sauce, rice wine, and water.
4. When the sauce is almost run out, put the chive and chili into the pot, and fry again (fry for 10 seconds....)
5. Pick up and injoy it!

Actually, it's not really hard to make. The point is the proportion of all kinds of flavor, and it always depands on you!

Because of the cold weather, it has been three days since I foget to update my blog. (haha.....)
So, today I will post three kinds of meal I cooked.

First, This was dinner meal in Wensday.
The main desh was a beef and cabbage stir-fry which was some beef cutted into slices and fried with cabbage, salt, garlic , and soya sauce in Taiwan's way; the side was steamed rice.

Secondly, I am going to introduce my lunch today.
A piece of roasted toast bread covered with some sauced-tuna and corn kernels.
I also warped a prepared cheese piece into the scallion pancake, and fried them togegher.
Basicly, it was a very common meal spot in every breakfast shop in Taiwan.
Be honest to say, it was so delicious!

Then the newest one is coming!
I had fried egg with tomato slices flavored with some sugar and salt.
Sliced beef with scallions was the main dish today.
To prepare the flavors of this dish, I needed sliced beef, some scallions, ginger, soya sauce, potato starch,
oyster oil, rice wine, and sugar.

Let me introduce my steps of doing this dish:
1. Soused sliced beef with soya sauce and potato starch.
2. Sliced the giger and scallions.
3. Put oil into your pot and fried the soused beef.
4. Not to over-fried your beef more than two mins. Got them up, it still remained some hot oil in the pot.
5. Fried half of sliced scallions, then put in some oyster oil, sugar, sliced giger, potato starch with water, and the beef.
6. Lasted frying for 2~3 mins and put the other part of scallions in final 30 seconds, then turned off the stove.
7. Got them up and enjoy the meal.

After finishing my dinner, I could not help to say it was so good and it was so touching!!!
Since the day I left Taiwan, it has been almost one mouth and it was the first time I could taste the flavor of my home country. I was crying when I ate my dinner. It remained me many lovely things in Taiwan, my family, my baby Chu, my old friends.............
Just want you konw that how much I care about you.

Today I wanted to cook something special for dinner,
so I asked my roommate where a chinese market was.
After googling the address and half hour biking, I finally found the chinese market.
Generally speaking, It's not a big market in Savannah, but there were amazing variety of traditional chinese cooking materials for choosing.

This purple house looked quite cute, didn't it?
I betted my baby Chu will love it as much as I was.

I bought a pot of chicken powder, dried codfish, miso source, some tiny dried fishs, and soybean curd from the chinese market.
Look the list of my goods, if you have any experience of living in Aisa area, you will know what kind of meal that I was going to cook.
Yes!  a traditional miso soup~~~~

the process of cooking a miso soup was quite easy for everyone, but not as delicious as I cooked. The first point was that you had to put some chicken powder and tiny dried fishs into the pot before the water boiled. The Second point was the type of miso. you had to choose the red one.
When the pot got boiling, put the miso source in. Take a 15 mins waiting, put the dried codfish in the pot, then enjoy it!!!

Here were my dinner: a double roasted beef with butter and toast, some boiled vegetables and olives, a bottle of coke, two pieces of apple, and of course, the traditional miso soup!

My lovely Chu asked my if I could cook for her, the answer was definitely YES!
I would love to cook for my baby Chu everyday untl I die.

It's a another sunny day, I borrowed a bicycle from my roommate.
So I decided to go out and hang aroung this afternoon.

The first place is my friend's house, and that room almost became my dormitory, but it didn't.
Because of some shit happened to my friend, I finally moved to another house where I was living now.
My friend' s house was on the side of the main road and very near from the access road of the high way 16.
Actually, there's serious air and noise pollutions caused by so many cars on the road.
I had to say the only good point of my friend's place was that just took five mins to reach ESL (english language center),and I thought I'd rether to move further, and choose a better place, like where I lived now.

Then I got a dwontown map from my friend, and continued my adventure~~~~

Here was the Jam Library, the library of SCAD.

Here is the famous tourist spot of Savannah, The River Street.

I was thinking I really want to bring my lovely Chu here, show her everything I've experidened, we gonna painting and laughting togegher and make a real happy life in America.

After a three-hours long biking, I was home. I was starving and sweated.
Of course, a yummy dinner came up!! There were some boiled Broccoli, mushroom, and two piece of roasted toast with ham, some apple for dessert.

Conventionally, a special hot tea and cigarette came upon.
Today's special tea was the earl grey tea of Twinings~~~~
Having a nice, warm self-make dinner can always make you relaxed from a whole day biking.
